1) Go to a service, do the service, and TAKE PICTURES!
Why? Say, as the historian, I'm not there, those photos still need to be taken though. Why? These photos not only go on the website, but they also go into our traditional and non-traditional scrapbook that is submitted into a contest at the annual convention, DCON in April 2018! The more pictures and services we cover the more chances we have at winning! Take pictures of not only yourself, but of everything going on at the service! Independent Services are included in this!
2) Go to a social, be social, and TAKE PICTURES!
Why? I couldn't make it to the social as the historian, those photos still need to be taken though. Why? They prove that you were at the social AND we can cover it in the scrapbook and put it up on the website. Although, some of you might not want your own pictures up on the website or in the scrapbook, and that is fine, BUT TAKE PICTURES OF OTHERS! TAKE PICTURES, not only of yourself, but of everything going on at the social!!!!! Independent Socials are included in this!
3) What do you do once you have TAKEN THE PICTURES?
First of all, THANK YOU FOR TAKING PICTURES! Now, you will email me at firstname.lastname@example.org and you will enter the subject as the date of the event and the name of the event (i.e. 10/10/2017 Trash Pick-Up). In the body of the email, tell me if it is an independent service/social or if it is a club-sponsored service/social. If it is an independent, then tell me in 2 sentences what happened around you, what you were doing, and etc. If it was a club-sponsored, then tell me that it was club-sponsored, that is all for club-sponsored. Then don't forget to ATTACH THE PICTURE IN THE EMAIL! Lastly, be sure to send it, and be sure it sent! An example of what the email should look like before it is sent and after it has been sent is down below:
